Sapphire Exclusive Necklace

Designed to celebrate the beauty of Brazil, the Exotica (meaning: exotic in Portuguese) Collection is handmade in 18ct gold and set with precious stones, sourced from Brazil. 

Stones: A drop-shaped sapphire in a three-claw setting on a recycled 18ct gold chain (40-45cm/16-18in). 

Properties: Recognisable for its regal blue hue, it’s unknown whether the name for sapphires came from the French word ‘saphir’, the Latin word ‘sapphirs’ or Greek word ‘sappherios’, which all mean ‘blue stone’. It’s a stone of wisdom and protection, relieving tension, restoring balance and helping with mental clarity by connecting to the Anja (third eye) chakra. 

Care: Sapphires are strong stones, ideal for everyday wear, so can be washed easily at home.
