Archipelago Ring with Tourmalines

Inspired by a trip to the Maldives in early 2021, handmade in our London studio using solid recycled 9ct gold and tourmalines, our Under The Sea collection encapsulates the spirit of the ocean. 

From the moment Adriana caught her first glimpse of the Indian Ocean and a sprawling group of islands, the place captured her heart — and influenced the design of this unusual ring, the Archipelago. A statement piece, made in recycled 9ct gold  set with six oval tourmalines in a rainbow of oceanic blue to green hues, it is a standalone beauty. The wave design on the open band is inspired by the movement of the water. 

A part of the place that particularly intrigued Adriana is the knowledge that in sixty years, if global warming continues at the pace its going, some of the islands — which are already submerged for many hours of the day — will cease to exist.  

Stones: Six oval tourmalines, in blues and greens 

Properties: Both deeply spiritual stones, the blue tourmaline brings peace, freeing the mind and enabling a deep meditative state, while the green tourmaline is protective, healing and rejuvenating — similar to the effect of the ocean.
